I don't understand the negative reviews. This is an excellent hotel with spacious beautiful rooms. Ok, it lacks what one expects from a 4 star hotel. The toiletry is minimal (just a shampoo), no hand towels, no water fountain (this was particularly disappointing). Breakfast was amazing..too many people but that's just because it's a great value. I want to send a special thanks to Lucia who welcomed us and was absolutely delightful. Thank you for all your help and advice, Lucia. You deserve a huge promotion! We absolutely loved our room. And the hotel's location is ideal.

The location is great. The room was big, clean, and comfy. The staff at reception were lovely. However, if you enjoy a good sleep, this is not the hotel for you. I could literally hear noises from the street, as if the windows were open (they weren't). Also, during the last day, breakfast was chaos - dirty dishes everywhere, that did not get removed for quite a while. Food was not restocked and some of the fruits have gone bad, fruit flies included.
The hotel is conveniently located near the railway station on the main road that leads to the old town. It can get a bit noisy at night, but the windows are pretty soundproof. The rooms are now brand new, but fine and the beds are comfortable. What is an absolute disgrace is how …

The hotel is conveniently located near the railway station on the main road that leads to the old town. It can get a bit noisy at night, but the windows are pretty soundproof. The rooms are now brand new, but fine and the beds are comfortable. What is an absolute disgrace is how understaffed the hotel is. The breakfast was utter chaos two days in a row. There was literally no food left, tables weren’t cleaned and the entire floor was sticky from orange juice. We were told that multiple employees had called in sick. This was in August, so not exactly flu season. We can only assume that the work conditions are abysmal as we were told one employee work 18 hours nonstop. This is totally unacceptable for any 4* hotel and shameful for Accor.
