I appreciated very much the friendly and helpful reception staff, from the check-in through to bar/food service and checkout. The room was small but very clean, comfortable and fun with the (optional) special effects lighting and mad house decoration. The size (smallest room available) was fine for one night. If I were to stay for three nights or more , I would reserve a bigger room to have enough space for luggage. The panettone offered with the coffee and tea was a very nice touch. The only point of criticism is the sound isolation, which isn't perfect, so it took me some time to get to sleep with the noise coming from the street. The hotel is ideally located with access to Lausanne's two metro lines, one of which connected me easily to the university for my meeting there.

We were instantly impressed with the good location to public transport (right next to the metro) and the overall vibe of this hotel. My only minor gripe was the rooms are a little small but they are more than sufficient for a couple of nights. I would certainly recommend and all of the staff I dealt with were very friendly and helpful, would definitely return if in the area again.
