Holiday Inn Bern Westside

An excellent hotel in Bern, particularly for business travelers and those looking for convenient access to both the city and surrounding destinations. The hotel is very well connected, with direct access to the rail station, and guests receive the Bern Ticket, which provides easy access to Bern's excellent public transportation network of buses and trams. The rooms are comfortable, well appointed, and maintained to a high standard. The breakfast offers a good variety of options and is an excellent way to start the day. One of the hotel's biggest advantages is its direct indoor connection to the Westside Shopping Centre, one of the largest shopping and leisure complexes in the region. Guests have easy access to major stores such as Migros, Decathlon, and H&M, along with restaurants, entertainment facilities, and a large water park. The hotel is also within walking distance of Bern Brünnen Westside railway station, offering convenient connections to Bern city center and Zurich. What stood out most was the exceptional service. The front desk staff were extremely cordial and provided detailed information on transportation options, local attractions, and sightseeing opportunities in Bern. The restaurant team was equally attentive and kindly accommodated my dietary requirements with special meal arrangements. A convenient location, excellent facilities, seamless access to shopping and transport, and genuinely helpful staff make Holiday Inn Bern - Westside a highly recommended choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Close to the tram and train station. Big mall next to it that has everything you’d want/need. Staff are very kind and attentive. - especially Sofie at reception & Hanna at the restaurant were absolutely wonderful! The beds are comfy and the soaps used in the bathrooms are such of good quality. The restaurant “Bits and Bites” has delicious meals that are in generous portions too. Would definitely come back if given the chance again :)
