This hotel is in a fantastic location. Everything you want to do is within walking distance. The staff were helpful and the rooms were immaculate, updated, and quiet (the junior suite was spacious - one queen bed and a pull out that was comfortable when it comes to pull outs). Our family of 5 stayed in two rooms. A well-lit and staffed parking garage is about a 3-minute walk away if you have a car. I highly recommend this hotel. Much nicer than a Best Western in the US!

We had a nice 3 day stay here. A couple of positives was the room and bathroom was fairly spacious for a couple. The hotel is central and only a few minutes walk to everything. Our interactions with the service team was limited, yet it seems every person that we'd interacted with didn't look bothered, or rather, not keen to even smile. While checking in, the lady couldn't be bothered welcoming us. During check out, the man was clearly overwhelmed and struggled to even greet us as we waited for 15mins. Also, strangely the shower lacked water pressure. The stay itself was pleasant but the FOH team felt cold and not bothered.
An excellent hotel in a historic building! The location is perfect for exploring Bern. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel also has an on-site restaurant and rooftop bar, though I did not get an opportunity to try these. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
