Four Seasons Firenze

We came to the Four Seasons for a drink, and the hotel is absolutely breathtaking. Working in the high-end industry myself, I can confidently say that this property truly lives up to the Four Seasons standard. The hotel is beautiful, the bar feels like stepping into another era, and the service is excellent. Our waiter was particularly funny and made the experience even more enjoyable. It wasn’t too crowded, the atmosphere was calm, and it was easy to have a conversation. The cocktail menu is incredibly unique and genuinely fun to go through. However, if you’re not an adventurous drinker, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the signature cocktails, as the flavours are very unusual: oyster, buffalo wings, Crêpe Suzette… We didn’t particularly enjoy the taste, but it was definitely a memorable experience! The dessert menu is also a nice touch. The ice creams were good, although I think the presentation could be slightly more refined considering the price. The location isn’t my favourite in Florence, but the gardens look absolutely beautiful and are definitely worth a walk. Overall, a stunning hotel and a very memorable experience.

There are places one visits in search of a few hours of rest, only to leave with the feeling of having travelled through several centuries. Behind the gates of Four Seasons Hotel Firenze lies the magnificent Palazzo della Gherardesca built in 1473 for Bartolomeo Scala. It is not hard o imagine that over the centuries, this venue welcomed members of the Medici family and some of Florence’s most distinguished households. Today, its frescoes and extraordinary gardens form one of the city’s most enchanting retreats where history whispers, piano piano, through every stone, corridor and garden path. We came to enjoy the spa, but the excellence of the experience revealed itself well before the first treatment. We had the pleasure of meeting Roberta (una vera perla!). With remarkable kindness, elegance and care, she went above and beyond to find arrangements that suited us perfectly and made our visit feel effortless from the very beginning. Roberta and her entire team were truly aux petits soins attentive without ever being intrusive, warm, thoughtful and wonderfully professional. It is precisely this kind of discreet generosity that transforms luxury into genuine hospitality. A special word must also go to Francesca, whose massage was exceptional (precise and deeply relaxing - bravissima!) In such a spectacular setting, one might imagine that the architecture, art and history would be enough to create the magic. In truth, it is its people who give the place its soul. From the moment I arrived, I was amazed by the beauty of the property, the peaceful gardens, and the elegant atmosphere throughout the hotel. Every corner feels like a work of art. A special thank you to a wonderful Italian gentleman wearing a vest in the lobby area. He was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and professional. His warm smile and genuine kindness made me feel incredibly welcome and added a personal touch to my stay. 😊 I also feel very lucky because during my visit, the floral decorations in the lobby were absolutely breathtaking. The flowers were stunning, vibrant, and beautifully arranged, creating a magical atmosphere that made every time I walked through the lobby feel special. 🌷🌺💐 The entire experience was luxurious, relaxing, and memorable. Florence is already a beautiful city, but staying here made the trip even more unforgettable. Thank you to the whole team for such outstanding hospitality. I can’t wait to come back! ❤️🇮🇹
