Badrutt's Palace Hotel

After a beautiful bike ride through St. Moritz, we stopped at Badrutt’s Palace for lunch — and what a wonderful decision that was. We enjoyed an incredible selection of wines and some truly outstanding food. The house-smoked salmon, delicately sliced and beautifully presented, was absolutely fantastic. The Indian-inspired chicken dishes were another highlight: refined, aromatic and prepared with so much care and attention to detail. And, of course, the legendary Badrutt’s Palace Club Sandwich — a true must-have. Sometimes the classics are classics for a reason. What makes the experience even more special is the setting. The views over St. Moritz and the surrounding mountains are simply dreamy. There is something timeless and effortlessly elegant about this place — a combination of history, hospitality, exceptional food and that unmistakable Alpine atmosphere. Badrutt’s Palace is not just a hotel; it is an experience. One of the world’s truly iconic hotels, and a place I am always happy to return to. Wonderful food, beautiful wines, impeccable atmosphere and an unforgettable location. Always a pleasure.

Badrutt’s Palace is truly one of the most exceptional hotels I have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is simply remarkable and perfectly reflects the legendary reputation of Badrutt’s Palace. A special thank you goes to the Spa team, who were absolutely outstanding and made our experience incredibly relaxing. The reception team was equally professional, warm, and attentive. One moment that particularly stood out was when I accidentally left my charger in the room after check-out. Without us even asking, the team carefully placed it in our bag with the luggage we had left in storage while we went hiking. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a perfect example of the exceptional service you receive here. The breakfast was outstanding, and the restaurant offered excellent food throughout our stay. Above all, what made this visit so special was the incredible sense of peace and relaxation that the hotel provides. Even though our stay was short, we left feeling genuinely refreshed. Highly recommended.

From the moment you arrive, you realize you are experiencing something far beyond a hotel stay. The setting is almost impossibly beautiful, overlooking the lakes and mountains of St. Moritz, but what truly makes Badrutt’s Palace special is the feeling it creates. The service is flawless yet warm, attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Every detail is anticipated before you even think to ask. The property somehow manages to feel grand and historic while remaining deeply comfortable and welcoming, even for families with young children. What surprised me most was that despite its legendary reputation, it exceeded every expectation. The views, the food, the atmosphere, the sense of tradition, the genuine hospitality—everything comes together to create something that feels almost magical. I’ve stayed in many wonderful places, but Badrutt’s Palace is in a category entirely its own. It is not simply a hotel; it is an experience that stays with you long after you’ve left. Five stars is nowhere near enough.
