We had a wonderful experience at the Ascott hotel. We were pleasantly welcomed by a man, who guided us through everything and the times for breakfast. The hotel has a historical feel to it, which is lovely and very interesting. We had a beautiful, clean room, the bed was so comfy that we didn’t want to get out of it! The hotel was very quiet, which we loved. The free car park was handy and there were shops nearby. We would definitely visit again if we were to come back to the area!

He spent the time to make me feel at home, a tru gentleman and made me feel welcome and at home… its not easy to create that experience for a guest but the building itself speaks a thousand words… not a single spec of dust met with a true hoteler… if thats even a word!! So what i made it or if i didnt i spelt it wrong! Call me stupid but i promise you wont when i drive past you in a ferrari;-), anyways going off topic , David deserves a chain of hiltons true gentleman :-)
This place ambiance is very good, amenities were disappointing because of the toilet drain was not working properly, had to wait for using the toilet. The biggest let down was the room heater which wasn’t working at all during peak winter time. Morning breakfast was good and it was an average experience
