Anantara Stanley & Livingstone Victoria Falls Hotel

Our stay at Anantara Stanley and Livingstone Victoria Falls Hotel was truly exceptional — one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The property is stunning, peaceful, and feels like a true African dream. But what makes it unforgettable is the level of service. The team goes above and beyond in the most thoughtful, personalized way. A special thank you to Duncan and Kuda — they made our honeymoon incredibly special. From helping us organize every activity to creating beautiful, intimate moments like a private stargazing setup and a garden lunch just for us. The attention to detail, warmth, and care from everyone was unmatched — even down to a farewell honeymoon gift. We will definitely be back and couldn’t recommend it more.

My husband and I booked the Stanley and Livingstone safari to see the black rhinos. The safari car was excellent- the best I’ve been in. Our guide Nixon was superb- so knowledgeable about the plants, birds, insects, mammals, landscape- and at tracking, of course! Along with a colleague on another vehicle with whom he was communicating on radio they found a black rhino and we saw it! We saw so many animals and learned so much from Nixon. The experience also included a tea/ coffee break with savory muffins and ginger cookies at the dam inside the reserve. At the end of the safari, there was breakfast at Anantara. Mouthwatering freshly baked goods and as much breakfast from the à la carte menu as you can eat! I had souffled omelets with English muffins, Parma ham, herbed mushrooms, and avocado, and my husband had a classic English breakfast. The food was delicious and Duncan’s service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant had exquisite interior decor. All in all, a five star experience that can’t be missed while in Victoria Falls- an absolute must do!

We had a great experience at Stanley and Livingstone. It was a great home base to explore Victoria Falls and the surrounding wildlife. The staff were phenomenal in addition to a great F&B program and beautifully designed rooms. We booked all of our excursions through the hotel and each of them was excellent - including the day trip to Chobe, Botswana and seeing the Black Rhinos. We could even see wildlife from the hotel including giraffes. This hotel was recommended to me by a friend and I will continue to pass it along to others.
