It’s a 3-5minute walk from Zhongshan Square with many beautiful hisroric buildings, and the hotel lobby is on the 6th floor. Up there are rooms. The room felt comfortable and the water pressure in the bathroom was great. It had a bidet installed. I was surprised that the breakfast turned out better than I expected. There are self-cooking sections, and the staff is nice.

This hotel ends up to be extremely better than I expected. The hotel staff were more than welcoming to help and friendly to talk to. Given the different culture aspects (especially in a small city in northern China), I can feel that the hotel management team does their best to accommodate. That’s what matters to the customers, to feel like home. I might be a little biased saying that since Dalian is actually my hometown, but still, I think Aloft Dalian is awesome. btw, beverages (even beers) in the little fridge are FREE!!
Location is good with a few restaurants around. Front desk speaks good English. Room was clean and quiet but the bedsheets smelled like smoke 🫤
