17th-century warship exploration at the Vasa Museum
Stockholm · Sweden
About this experience
At the centre of a museum in Stockholm stands the warship Vasa, which sank shortly after being launched in the 17th century. Standing complete, with carved decoration largely original, it rises like an enormous wooden sculpture. Viewing it from different levels, from low decks to the top, shows naval architecture of the age at real scale.
Lighting is kept dim to protect the ship, so set your camera for low light.
