Turquoise cascade viewing at Petrohué Falls
Puerto Montt · Chile
About this experience
The Petrohué Falls in Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park are a canyon where turquoise water runs between black volcanic rock. The water foams through gaps in the stone. The volcano rising behind can be seen from viewpoints reached by a short walk.
Rock beside the falls can be wet, so wear shoes with grip and keep children close. At the viewpoints, frame the volcano and the falls together.
