About this experience
Las Grietas is a clear, cool water canyon wedged between volcanic rock walls. You can climb the rocks and jump in or swim calmly, as light bouncing between the walls shifts the colours of the water. After a short walk on Santa Cruz, it is a refreshing reward.
The route is rocky, uneven and walked in warm weather. Bring swimwear, a towel and water-friendly grippy shoes. Rocks turn slippery when wet, so check the depth and local rules before jumping. Carry plenty of water.
