Beagle Channel cruise past the End of the World lighthouse and sea lion colonies
Ushuaia · Argentina
About this experience
The boat leaves Ushuaia and moves along the cold waters of the Beagle Channel. Colonies of sea lions rest on the rocks of small islets, and a lighthouse stands on the shore known as the end of the world. Snow-covered mountains rise behind the scene as the boat draws near.
Wind on the channel can sharpen, so dress in layers and bring gloves and a hat. The sea lions are seen from a distance, and binoculars help a lot. Non-slip shoes are safer on deck.
