Korean Demilitarized Zone and Turkish Brigade memorial tour at the DMZ
Seoul · South Korea
About this experience
This tour goes to the Demilitarised Zone north of Seoul and to a memorial for the Turkish Brigade that served in the Korean War. The quiet of the frontier and its military presence make the past feel close. At the memorial, the memory of Turkish soldiers is honoured.
It can be visited in every season; bring gloves and a scarf in winter, a hat and water in summer. Identification, often a passport, is needed to enter, and photo and dress rules apply. Stay quiet at the memorial.
