4x4 elephant safari in Chobe National Park
Victoria Falls · Botswana
About this experience
Chobe National Park is known for its large herds of elephants. In an open 4x4 you follow the park's tracks and watch elephants walk calmly down to the riverbank, along with other wildlife. It is a patient safari that approaches animals on their own terms, with respect.
Expect bumpy tracks and long spells seated in the vehicle. Dress in layers for dust, sun and cool mornings, and bring a hat and sun protection. Sightings depend on luck, and staying quiet and inside the vehicle is a safety rule. Binoculars and a zoom lens help.
