Three Sisters rock formations view in the Blue Mountains
Blue Mountains · Australia
About this experience
At the edge of the canyon in the Blue Mountains, the rock formations known as the Three Sisters stand in a line above the valley. The view opens onto a vast hollow where eucalyptus forest gives off a bluish haze. Stopping at the lookout and taking in the wide angle is enough to feel the scale of the place.
Mountain weather changes quickly, so take a jacket. Early morning is often clearer and quieter. Mind the railings at the lookout and keep children close.
