Treetop suspension bridge walk in the Amazon canopy
Puerto Maldonado · Peru
About this experience
High above the ground in the Amazon forest, suspended bridges run between the trunks. As you walk among branches and leaves, birdsong and rustling surround you, and the canopy layer you could never see from the floor opens up at eye level.
Anyone nervous of heights should think about it first. Bring closed shoes, a light rain jacket and insect repellent. Early mornings are good for birds.
