Lovely hotel with lots of character in a great location within walking distance to most of the museums and sights. It has cool common areas and well appointed rooms. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and have air conditioning (which is a very blessed thing in summer heat waves). The beds are big and comfy. The service is excellent and everyone is super friendly and helpful, making you feel very welcome indeed. The breakfast is excellent with lots of choice and great quality. There’s coffee, tea, some fruit, and biscuits always available in the breakfast room. Pastries for you to snack on are also available during the day. There are elevators so you don’t need to struggle up stairs with luggage. Only downside is for people who are sensitive to noise, it’s an old property so floorboards creak and the locking mechanism can be quite loud if you are a light sleeper and your next door neighbour is trying to get into their room. I got a good deal on the hotel but even at full price, with all the amenities and included breakfast, it’s totally worth it. I would totally stay here again if I find myself back in the lovely city of Antwerp.

The hotel has a warm, intimate and refined feeling that immediately makes you feel at home. You can genuinely feel the family-owned aspect behind the experience, and that personal touch makes all the difference. The rooms are charming, calm and full of character, with a beautiful balance between historic architecture and contemporary comfort. Another huge advantage in Antwerp: the private parking, which makes the stay incredibly convenient. A wonderful address for both leisure and business stays, and definitely one of the most charming hotels I’ve experienced in Antwerp.

Excellent stay at Hotel ’t Sandt. The hotel is beautifully maintained, very clean and ideally located in the centre of Antwerp while still feeling calm and relaxing. The staff was welcoming and professional throughout the stay. The rooms have a lot of charm and feel very different from standard chain hotels, which made the experience much more enjoyable and authentic. The private parking is also a major plus for anyone visiting Antwerp by car. You can really feel the care and attention behind the hotel, and we would gladly return for another stay.
