Park Inn By Radisson Antwerpen City Centre

Stayed in this hotel as part of the Tomorrowland package and was very disappointed. We had six people split into three groups. My group got the smallest corner room, while everyone else got standard rooms which were quite a bit more spacious. Considering we bought everything at the same time, you would think we would get similar rooms. Asking for a room swap, we were told no, because there were no more rooms, which is fair enough. On the first morning, I was trying to find a hairdryer only to be told by service that our room doesn't have it and I can go downstairs to a store to buy one for 15 euros. What kind of response is that? We checked with the other groups and they all had hair dryers. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Felt like we got shafted. Other hotels put more effort into decorating and preparing the hotel for Tomorrowland while none of that was happening here. The only good thing is the proximity to the station.

I stayed at Park Inn Antwerpen for one night on business and the condition of the room was completely unacceptable. The walls were heavily marked and stained, the furniture was damaged, and the bathroom floor was cracked with clear signs of long-standing water damage. The overall impression was of a room that had not been properly maintained for some time. I took photos during my stay because the conditions were so poor. What has made this experience worse is how the complaint has been handled. I raised the issue formally and have had to chase repeatedly. Despite providing photos, booking details, and confirmation from my corporate travel agent, I have been asked multiple times to reverify that I even stayed at the hotel. The room was well below the standard expected of the Radisson brand, and the follow-up process has been equally disappointing. I would strongly advise business travellers to think carefully before booking this property.

We booked a Junior Suite at Park Inn for our anniversary weekend. The room was advertised as having a bathtub, and we specifically filtered for a room with a bathtub. The booking system directed us to the Junior Suite with terrace. For a 3-star hotel, €160 per night without breakfast is not cheap. We have stayed with the Radisson Blu group many times before without issues, and we are always careful when making our bookings. At check-in, we were not informed that the room was only accessible via stairs, despite the fact that the staff had already seen us earlier with a buggy. This information would have been important for us. When we entered the room, it was completely different from what was described on both Booking.com and the hotel’s own website. The room did not match the advertised features. In addition, there was a visible stain from a dead mosquito on the wall, and when we turned on the TV, it displayed a “no connection” message. Within a few minutes of entering the room, we decided to check out. We did not use the room at all. No refund was offered, which we accepted. However, the city tax was also not refunded for a room we did not use, which felt unfair. We then moved to Hilton Antwerp Old Town, where we had a much better experience. Although it was more expensive, it was absolutely worth the price. The room was significantly larger, the amenities and facilities were excellent, dinner was included to celebrate our anniversary, breakfast was included, and we had access to the executive lounge. The contrast in quality and service was very clear. I am not someone who complains easily, and this is the first time I have ever left a 1-star review. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing and felt misleading.
