My stay at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva was truly one of the most memorable and exceptional hotel experiences I have ever had. I chose this hotel because of my wonderful previous stay at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London. That experience gave me complete confidence in the Mandarin Oriental brand, and I am delighted to say that Mandarin Oriental Geneva exceeded all of my expectations. During my stay, I went through some difficult personal circumstances, and you never made me feel like just another guest. Instead, you embraced me with compassion and warmth. You became my support, and you truly felt like family. I will never forget your kindness. A special thank you to the housekeeping team, especially the lovely lady with dark hair who cleaned my room. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name, but she was always smiling, cheerful, and incredibly professional. I would also like to thank the breakfast team. The service was exceptional every morning. Special thanks to the kind young lady with the warm smile, the tall manager, and the lovely blonde lady. Their friendliness and attention made every breakfast a pleasure. My sincere appreciation also goes to the team at the hotel’s Japanese restaurant. The dining experience was elegant, the food was outstanding, the prices were very reasonable for such high quality, and the service was impeccable. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our experience special. Everything about this hotel was simply perfect: the beautiful location, the luxurious rooms, the impeccable cleanliness, the peaceful atmosphere, and the exceptional service. I was initially unsure about staying for five nights, but once I arrived, I wished I could extend my stay. The days passed far too quickly and left me with unforgettable memories. We had a truly wonderful stay at the Mandarin Oriental Geneva and felt warmly welcomed from the very beginning during our stay from Friday, May 1st to Saturday, May 2nd. Our check-in with Victoria/Vittoria was excellent. She gave us all the necessary information, made us feel very comfortable and even accompanied us personally to our room. The gentleman at the entrance was also very attentive and immediately helped us with our luggage upon arrival. We were delighted to receive an upgrade to a Mandarin River View Room, which was absolutely beautiful. The room was spacious, very well designed and elegantly furnished. We especially loved the large window front and the many mirrors throughout the room, which made everything feel even brighter and more luxurious. We were also welcomed with fresh fruits and a lovely amenity, which was such a thoughtful touch. Thank you very much for that. The next morning, Cedric at the concierge desk helped us plan our day in Geneva, as it was our first time visiting the city. He showed us the city map, gave us recommendations on what to explore and suggested several restaurants for us to try. His advice truly helped make our day perfect, so a special thank you again to Cedric for his kindness and professionalism. On the evening of May 1st, we also had dinner and drinks at the bar. Unfortunately, we do not remember the name of the waitress who assisted us, but she had dark hair tied back in a high ponytail and wore a dark/black suit. She was incredibly friendly and helpful when recommending dishes and drinks. The food was fantastic. I had the wagyu steak, my boyfriend chose the club sandwich, and we also shared two starters. Everything was delicious, including the cocktails. Breakfast was another highlight for us. We especially loved that the pastries, such as the croissants and pain au chocolat, were homemade and clearly labelled as such. It was also wonderful that a freshly prepared hot dish from the breakfast menu was included and made directly by the kitchen. Overall, we had an amazing stay. Every staff member we encountered was genuinely friendly and attentive, and the hotel truly offers everything one could wish for. We would gladly return.
