We stayed here for three nights in two rooms. As a Marriott Platinum I was upgraded to a wonderful Corner Executive Suite. At check in, we had an issue with our second room reservation—The manager offered us complimentary sparkling wine and solved the issue immediately. The hotel itself is a bit older but well maintained. The hotel bar is a bit...odd...but passable and we were offered complimentary drinks for declining housekeeping. The location is ideal if arriving or leaving by train as it is across the street from the Train Station and about a 10min walk from the Altstadt.

Decent pool and facilities, but can get crowded- I visited this swimming pool using Wellpass, and overall it was a good experience. The pool temperature is around 26°C, which feels comfortable—not too cold, not too warm. The depth is about 110 cm, so it’s suitable for relaxing rather than serious swimming. The pool size is decent and can comfortably accommodate around 4–5 people at a time without feeling too crowded. There are plenty of lounge chairs around the pool area, which is great if you just want to relax. Changing rooms & facilities: The changing rooms are separate for men and women, but they are on the smaller side and can get quite wet, so it’s a good idea to carry slippers. Showers are available with curtains, and they provide shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner, which is convenient. There are also free lockers for storing your belongings. Sauna: The sauna was decent but a bit crowded, likely due to hotel guests. It’s a mixed-gender sauna—you can enter with a towel, although some people were using it without one, which might be something to be aware of depending on your comfort level. Other points: * Staff was welcoming as a Wellpass user * Towels are not free (available for rent), so better to bring your own * Water filters are available, which is a nice touch to stay hydrated Pros: * Comfortable pool temperature * Clean and relaxing environment * Lounge chairs available * Free lockers and basic amenities provided Cons: * Changing rooms are small and get wet * Sauna can be crowded * Towels are chargeable Verdict: A nice place for a relaxed swim and short spa session. Not very large, but well-maintained and suitable for casual visits—especially if you go during less busy hours.
