Holiday Inn Tbilisi

I stayed at Holiday Inn Tbilisi for three nights, and overall it remains a nice and reliable place to stay. I’ve actually been coming back every year for the past five years, which says a lot about the hotel and its location. The location is truly excellent—one of my favorite areas of Tbilisi to stay in, with easy access to the city and a pleasant neighborhood feel. The service, as always, is a strong point. The staff are consistently welcoming, professional, and smiling, which makes the stay comfortable and familiar every time. That said, it’s a bit disappointing that the rooms haven’t been renewed in a long time. After five years of visits, the rooms look exactly the same, which feels strange for a hotel of this standard. A refresh would really make a difference. Breakfast is acceptable, though it also used to be better in the past. The lobby restaurant food is okay, but the menu is quite limited, with not many choices available. It works for a quick meal, but it’s not particularly exciting. Overall, Holiday Inn Tbilisi is still a good hotel with excellent service and an amazing location. I feel it’s definitely more enjoyable in summer than in January, but it remains a solid option for a comfortable stay in the city.

We recently stayed at the hotel and had an amazing experience. A special mention goes to Natalie at the reception she was incredibly helpful, charming and lovely. Her customer service truly stood out. The room had a minor issue in the bathroom. The location is also a big plus, as it is close to bus/train station and within easy reach to old tbilisi, peace of bridge, mother of georgia. The breakfast food is good. Overall it’s a great palce to stay, and we would definitely recommend it.

Although the hotel itself is relatively new, the rooms were surprisingly poorly maintained. There were scratches on the floors and tables throughout the room, and the closet door couldn't be opened because it was damaged. Every time I took a shower, water leaked out onto the bathroom floor, which was quite inconvenient. The housekeeping staff did a good job keeping the room clean, but the property definitely needs better maintenance. The location was also disappointing, as there weren't many restaurants, shops, or other amenities within walking distance. Overall, the hotel has potential, but it needs to improve its upkeep and offers a less convenient location than expected.
