Hilton The Hague

Beautiful modern hotel in a perfect location for a tourist visit. The neighborhood is fantastic, coffee shops and great restaurants close. Clean and safe area. Unfortunately, we had too many issues with the hotel. The staff, however, is fantastic. The first room we were given had serious electrical problems and the room power light switch would sizzle and short out, lights blinking. The toilet was dirty and not flushed. Staff moved us to a second slightly smaller room but with an excellent view. Unless you hugged the wall in the shower, water would roll out into the bathroom. The sink faucet was slightly defective. Housekeeping only left one towel on a day. We loved our stay and the wonderful front desk staff.

We had a fantastic stay at Hilton The Hague. From the moment we arrived until check-out, everything exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The Executive Lounge was excellent, offering a great selection of drinks and snacks in a relaxing atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options and outstanding service. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend Hilton The Hague to anyone visiting the city. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

We stayed on an Executive King room with lounge access for 3 nights in early June (Monday to Thursday). This was our second visit. Hotel is located in Embassy district with easy transit access and (8 minutes to central train station). Room is spacious, clean, quiet and well organized. Minor issue - the windows are in need of a serious outside cleaning. Breakfast buffet has all western foods you might want, including eggs to order. Lounge in 5th floor is spacious with a large outdoor balcony. It had a good selection of coffee, tea, and cold non-alcoholic drinks when not during happy hours, and also alcoholic drinks during happy hours (5-7pm). However, when not happy-hour there is little other than candy and some crackers (see photo). During happy hour the snacks were skimpy (other than cheeses, see the other photo) and were gone fast and usually not replaced. Also, their webpage says it's open until 9:30pm. Stopped by for a soft drink at 8:45pm one night and 8:05pm another night. Both times it was already closed So overall a good stay. Would we stay here again - yes, but would not pay extra for lounge access as that was disappointing compared to others.
