Vietnam and Cambodia Tour

We meet at the International Departures Terminal at Istanbul Airport approximately 3 hours before departure. After completing baggage drop-off and passport formalities, we board our scheduled Turkish Airlines flight to Saigon (HO CHI MINH CITY). Our journey to Saigon continues through the night. We spend the night on board.

Upon arrival in Saigon, we complete passport formalities and collect our luggage before boarding our private vehicle. We set off on our Cu Chi Tunnels tour with lunch to explore the tunnels that bear witness to the history of the Vietnam War. Built in the 1940s to resist French colonial forces, this underground tunnel system was later used against the American army during the Vietnam War. The system consists of living quarters, kitchens, weapons stores, hospital sections and secret passages. As we explore the tunnels, we learn about the Vietnamese people's struggle to survive during the war and their defence strategies. After lunch at a local restaurant, we begin our panoramic city tour of Saigon, Vietnam's largest city and economic centre. During the tour, we see Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, City Hall and the Opera House. We then have dinner at a local restaurant. At the end of the day, we transfer to our hotel and spend the night there.

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and set off on the Mekong Delta & Motorized Tuk Tuk & Sampan Boat Tour & Ben Thanh Market Shopping Tour with lunch included. Our first stop is Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, we begin a private boat tour on the Ham Luong River. Along the way, we observe the local natural surroundings, coconut groves and traditional riverside life. We then travel along village roads in a local Xe Lam (motorized tuk-tuk) to visit a workshop that makes traditional brooms. After exploring the narrow canals in traditional Sampan boats, we visit a local family and taste fresh tropical fruit. A short walk through the village gives us a closer look at the surroundings and daily life. After lunch at a local restaurant, we return to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way back, we have free time for shopping at Ben Thanh Market. After dinner at a local restaurant, we transfer to our hotel, where we spend the night.

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and depart for the Chong Khneas Floating Village and Tonle Sap Lake Boat Tour with lunch included. During the boat tour on Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, we observe floating villages built on the water, the traditional way of life of local residents and the natural surroundings. After lunch at a local restaurant, we transfer to Saigon airport and fly to Siem Reap with a local airline. On arrival, we have dinner at a local restaurant, then transfer to our hotel. We spend the night at our hotel.

After breakfast in SIEM REAP, we depart for the Angkor Thom Ancient City & Bayon Temple & Angkor Wat Sunset & Apsara Dance Show tour, with lunch and dinner included. We begin our visit to Angkor Thom Ancient City by entering through the South Gate. At the entrance, we see statues depicting the Churning of the Ocean of Milk, an important scene in Hindu mythology. We then visit Bayon Temple, known for its 54 towers and approximately 200 smiling faces of Avalokiteshvara. Our tour continues with Baphuon Temple, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King and the ruins of the Royal Palace. After lunch at a local restaurant, we visit Angkor Wat Temple, a symbol of Cambodia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Covering approximately 81 hectares, the temple's five towers represent Mount Meru in Hindu belief, while the surrounding moat represents the ocean. We watch the sunset at Angkor Wat. After dinner at a local restaurant accompanied by a traditional Apsara dance show, we transfer to our hotel. We spend the night at our hotel.

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and head to Siem Reap Airport. We fly to Da Nang with a local airline and, on arrival, take the private vehicle waiting for us to lunch. After lunch, we set off for Hoi An Ancient Town. Upon arrival in Hoi An, we begin a walking tour through the city's historic streets. We explore traditional architecture along streets decorated with colorful lanterns and visit the Japanese Bridge, the Chinese Assembly Halls and historic houses. We walk along the Thu Bon River and explore the city's bustling market, discovering the cultural life Hoi An has preserved for centuries. We then have free time for shopping. Hoi An is known for its quality, reasonably priced tailoring services offering custom-made clothing. In the streets of the ancient town, you can browse handmade souvenirs, jewelry, traditional clothing, shoes and various handicrafts. At the local market, you can observe daily life in Vietnam. In the evening, hundreds of colorful lanterns decorating the historic buildings light the streets with a yellow glow. After spending time in the streets filled with music and laughter, we transfer to our hotel.

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and depart in our private vehicle for a tour of Ba Na Hills, Golden Bridge, Linh Ung Pagoda and Ba Chua Thuong Ngan Temple, with lunch included. Upon arrival at Ba Na Hills, set amid Da Nang’s natural surroundings and designed with French architectural influences, we take the cable car, which holds 5 world records, to the mountaintop. Our first stop is Golden Bridge. We walk across the bridge, supported by stone hands, and take in the views of the Truong Son Mountains. We then visit Linh Ung Pagoda, home to a 27-metre-tall Buddha statue. After exploring the pagoda, which features traditional Vietnamese architecture, we continue to Loc Uyen Garden and Quan Am Pavilion for a walk through the gardens. Our tour continues with a visit to Fantasy Park, where we enjoy attractions such as Love Swing, Skiver Pilot, Fire Racing Track, Bumper Car and Ghost House. After lunch at a restaurant, we continue exploring. In the afternoon, we ascend to the summit of Chua Mountain in Ba Na Hills, at an elevation of 1.487 metres, to visit Ba Chua Thuong Ngan Temple.

We leave our hotel early in the morning for the Halong Bay Cruise Tour and head towards Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After breakfast and our morning coffee at a local restaurant along the way, we continue to the port. On arrival, we are greeted with a welcome drink and settle aboard our private boat. During the cruise, we see limestone islets covered in vegetation and their reflections in the water. After lunch on board, guests who wish can swim, go canoeing or explore the caves. Towards sunset, we have dinner on board with views of the bay and spend the night aboard our vessel in Halong Bay.

We wake up in the bay. Guests who wish can take an early morning swimming break. We then have breakfast on board. From the upper deck, we watch the limestone islets rising from the sea. As our boat sails through the bay, we see various rock formations. After checking out of our cabins, we leave the boat around midday. We then set off for the Hanoi City Tour with Lunch & Cyclo Tour & Water Puppet Show. First, we take a panoramic tour past Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, one of Hanoi's landmarks, Ho Chi Minh's Wooden House and the Presidential Palace. We then visit the One Pillar Pagoda, built in 1049 and one of the city's important religious buildings, and Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi's oldest temple. We explore the Temple of Literature, considered Vietnam's first university and built in 1070 in honour of Confucius. After lunch at a local restaurant, we ride through the streets of Hanoi's historic Old Quarter in a traditional Cyclo (bicycle rickshaw), observing city life. At the end of the day, we watch a Water Puppet Show, an important tradition in Vietnamese culture. After dinner at a local restaurant, we transfer to our hotel. We spend the night at our hotel.

Early in the morning, we transfer to Hanoi Airport. We fly to Istanbul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Our tour ends upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, local time. We hope to see you again on our next trip.
