ABOUT THE TOUR

Across the Mongolian steppe

This tour runs from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's capital, to Terelj National Park, Karakorum and Khustai National Park, tracing the steppe once ruled by Genghis Khan. From his 40 metre equestrian statue to Erdene Zuu Monastery, nights in traditional ger camps and the chance to watch wild Takhi horses, it offers a close look at Mongolian nomadic life. A camel safari and a Mongolian barbecue round out the route.
