Dream Triangle Germany, France and Switzerland Tour

We meet in front of the Türk Hava Yolları counter at the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After completing baggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for Stuttgart at 08.55 on Türk Hava Yolları flight TK 1701. We arrive in Stuttgart at 10.00 local time and begin our city tour in the vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Set among green hills in southwestern Germany, Stuttgart is known for its industry, parks, vineyards and cultural life. Sights on the tour include Schlossplatz (Palace Square), Stuttgart’s largest square, Neues Schloss (New Castle), Altes Schloss (Old Castle) and Johanneskirche (St. John’s Church). After the city tour, we depart for Strasbourg. Located in the Alsace region of France, Strasbourg is home to one of Europe’s largest medieval quarters with cobbled streets. The city is known for its natural surroundings, historic buildings, timber houses, medieval churches, cathedrals and works of art. Strasbourg, where the French national anthem La Marseillaise was written, brings together Alsace culture and French architecture.

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Fairytale Villages of Alsace (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr) tour at an extra charge. (110 Euro) We will have opportunities to take photographs throughout the tour. Our first stop will be Egusheim, which was named Favourite French Village in 2013. The village is known for its historic character and natural surroundings. Colourful houses reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region shape the appearance of Equesheim. After this visit, we head to Colmar, known for its historic medieval buildings, Gothic churches and colourful houses. During our walk through its well-preserved streets, we will see St. Martin Cathedral, built entirely from pink stone. Other sights include Little Venice, whose small canals recall Venice in Italy, Maison Pfister, one of Colmar's oldest houses, and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building decorated with depictions of faces. Our third stop will be Kaysersberg. Located in the Alsace region of France, Kayserberg is known for its medieval character, colourful houses and narrow streets. The 13th-century Château de Kaysersberg is one of the town's main landmarks.

After breakfast at the hotel, there will be free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Germany Duo (Heidelberg & Baden Baden & Outlet Center) tour at an extra cost. (110 Euro) The tour will depart for its first stop, Heidelberg. Traces of the Middle Ages can be seen in Heidelberg's streets, squares and buildings. Sights on the city tour include Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge and Heidelberg Castle. The tour will then continue to Baden Baden, known for its natural surroundings, cultural and artistic attractions, thermal springs and one of Europe's best-known casinos. After exploring Baden Baden, which has inspired many famous writers and composers, the tour will continue to its final stop, Outlet Center. There will be free time at Outlet Center, which features many well-known brands. At the end of the tour, guests will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight accommodation will be at our hotel in Strasbourg or the surrounding area.

After breakfast at the hotel, you have free time. Guests who wish can join the optional Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne) tour at an extra cost. (130 Euro) The tour's first stop is the Rhine Falls, Europe's largest waterfall, with a width of 150 metres and a height of 23 metres. We take a walk in this area surrounded by branches of the Rhine, enjoying views of the waterfall and its surroundings. We then continue to Zurich, stop number 2. Switzerland's largest city, Zurich welcomes millions of visitors every year with its historic centre, Gothic churches and historic buildings. After seeing Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches and St. Peterskirche Church, which has Europe's largest clock tower, we explore Bahnhofstrasse, considered the city's shopping centre. We then travel to the historic city of Lucerne in central Switzerland, at the foot of the Alps. Here we see the Lion Monument, built in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who lost their lives protecting King Louis 16 and his family, Chapel Bridge and the views of Lake Lucerne. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel in Strasbourg or the surrounding area.

After breakfast, check out of the rooms and depart for Freiburg. Germany's fourth-largest city, Freiburg is located near the Black Forest and is known for its natural beauty and medieval heritage. The city tour includes sights such as Münster Cathedral, a symbol of the city with Gothic architecture, Markthalle (Covered Market), Münsterplatz (Main Square), Rathausplatz, Kaiser Joseph Street, Augustiner Platz, Adelhauser Platz and Gerberau. After the tour, depart for Basel and begin the city tour upon arrival. Switzerland's third most populous city after Zurich and Geneva, Basel brings together modern and historic buildings despite its small area. Sights on the city tour include Basel Cathedral, which houses the tomb of the Dutch Renaissance writer Erasmus, the city's main square, Marktplatz, the Government Building and Hotel Les Trois Roi. After the tour, depart for Basel Airport. Once baggage, ticket and passport procedures are complete, depart for Istanbul at 18.05 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1926. The tour ends upon arrival at 23.15 local time.
