Belgium and France Tour

We will meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport three hours before our flight to complete our ticket and baggage procedures. Our flight with Pegasus Airlines to Paris will take approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes. Upon arrival, we will begin exploring Paris, one of the world's most important metropolises, where you can see traces of history at every corner. When it comes to romance, Paris is undoubtedly shaped by its neoclassical architecture. Adorned with Haussmann buildings, from its wide avenues to its side streets, Paris welcomes visitors as if they are in an open-air museum, offering a wide range of experiences from art to culture, fashion to gastronomy. Our first stop on the city tour of Paris will be the famous Champs Elysees avenue, synonymous with shopping. After enjoying free time for dining and shopping, we will meet at the designated time set by our guide and head to our hotel for accommodation, followed by free time to relax.

After breakfast, we will join the Eiffel Tower and Seine River tour. During our boat tour along the Seine River, we will have an opportunity to see Paris’s iconic landmarks from a different angle. The Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Louvre Museum, Alexandre III Bridge, Orsay Museum and Institute of France are among the places we will see panoramically during the tour. While on the river, we will view the city from a different perspective and discover Paris’s most famous landmarks from the water. After the boat cruise, we will ascend to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower for a bird’s-eye view of Paris. Designed for the 1889 Paris World’s Fair, the tower eventually became a symbol of Paris and one of the world’s most recognisable structures. Today, it remains an important tourist attraction, welcoming millions of visitors. After our excursion, we will travel to our hotel. Following the tour, we will visit a shop where you can sample tax-free, affordable, high-quality perfumes. You will also have an opportunity to shop. You will then have free time for shopping and dinner on the Champs-Élysées before continuing to our hotel, where you will have free time to rest.

After breakfast, we will begin our Montmartre (Artists’ Hill), Notre Dame Cathedral, Luxembourg Garden and Louvre District tour. Our first stop will be Montmartre (Artists’ Hill), the artistic and bohemian district in northern Paris. We will first travel by vehicle through the Pigalle District, known for its lively nightlife and colourful atmosphere and home to the world-famous Moulin Rouge cabaret show. We will then take the funicular up Artists’ Hill, where we will see the Sacred Heart Basilica. Construction of the Sacred Heart Basilica began on Artists’ Hill in 1875 to symbolise France’s spiritual renewal, but the building was not opened for worship until after World War I. Following its spiritual transformation, Montmartre became an arts centre and was home to many renowned artists, including Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali and Emile Zola. You will have free time to explore the bohemian streets of Artists’ Hill, lined with art galleries, and enjoy lunch. Our next stop will be Notre Dame Cathedral.

After breakfast, we will complete our check-out procedures early in the morning and depart from our hotel towards Luxembourg. First, we will explore the city of Metz. One of the oldest cities in France, Metz has changed hands repeatedly throughout history due to wars between France and Germany, offering a historic atmosphere where you can see reflections of both cultures, along with its stunning nature that will impress you. As one of the greenest cities in France, Metz boasts a captivating landscape with the Moselle and Seille Rivers and lakes. Among the highlights are the "German Gate," a medieval structure built by German workers on the Moselle River, the dazzlingly beautiful Saint-Etienne Cathedral, which is one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Place d’Armes Square, the famous Metz Covered Market, and the opera and theater building, which are some of the oldest structures in France, all located within Metz. Upon our arrival in Luxembourg, we will begin our tour here. Strategically located in the heart of Europe, Luxembourg is one of the world's most developed economies.

After breakfast, we will set off for Brussels in the morning. On our way to Brussels, we will first explore the city of Trier. Located in southwestern Germany along the banks of the Rhine River, Trier is one of the oldest cities in the country. Known as Augusta Treverorum during the Roman Empire, Trier is a fascinating city with rich history and architecture. The history of Trier dates back to Roman times, and the city was built by the Romans in the 16th century BC. Therefore, many remnants and structures from ancient Rome are still accessible today. Among these are the Porta Nigra (Black Gate), Kaiserthermen (Imperial Thermal Buildings), and the Roman bridge (Römerbrücke), which are all listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. After our journey, we will arrive in Brussels. Brussels, which is also the capital of the European Union, can be described as one of the centers of international diplomacy.

After breakfast, we will complete our hotel check-out and head to the city center of Amsterdam. Before our Amsterdam tour, we will explore the city of Bruges. After our journey, we will arrive in Bruges, often referred to as the Venice of the North. With its historical texture, well-preserved medieval architecture, narrow streets, colorful facades of historical buildings, canals, and significant structures, this UNESCO-protected city offers visitors a chance to travel back in time. Surrounded by greenery, Bruges is steeped in history and will captivate you with its romantic atmosphere. During our walking city tour, we will see places such as the Grote Markt, the Gothic-style City Hall, the Belfry Bell Tower, the Basilica of the Holy Blood, and Minnewater (Lake of Love), which boasts the most beautiful view of the city. During the free time given to explore the city, you can relax in its charming cafes and enjoy lunch at local restaurants. After free time, we will meet at the time designated by our guide and head towards Amsterdam. Upon our arrival in Amsterdam, we will set out to explore the city.

After breakfast, we will embark on our tour to Marken & Volendam - Zaanse Schans. You will be captivated by the natural beauty and the colorful houses lined up in Marken and Volendam, where we can best observe the traditional lifestyle of the Netherlands. Once a fishing village, the residents of Marken transformed their way of life into crafts and traditional clothing production after the island became a tourist destination and was connected to the mainland by a bridge. The houses built on stilts to prevent flooding are still preserved today. We will take a short journey over the bridge to Volendam, which is much larger than Marken. Along the way, we will visit a cheese producer and learn about cheese production in an area known for various cheese makers and tasting workshops. After a brief free time for shopping, we will head towards Volendam. In this beautiful town, where famous artists such as Picasso and Renoir stayed briefly in the 20th century, you can see many locals dressed in traditional costumes.

After breakfast, we will complete our check-out procedures and leave the hotel. Following the free time provided by our guide, we will head to the airport at the designated time. After completing our ticket and baggage procedures, we will fly to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport on Pegasus Airlines' scheduled flight.
