Arrival in Batumi
We meet at the Turkish Airlines counter in the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport, 3 hours before the flight. After check-in and passport control we board Turkish Airlines flight TK392, departing at 13:45 for Batumi.
We land at 16:40 local time and start our city tour with our guide. Walking along Batumi Boulevard, we pass modern architecture, the Ali and Nino statue and Piazza Square.
After the tour, guests who wish can join the optional extra Argo cable car ride (25 USD), with views over the Black Sea, the city skyline and the green hills around it. A second optional extra, the Batumi boat trip (15 USD), shows the Black Sea coast from the water: the skyline, the beaches and the mountains behind, with plenty of chances for photos.
We then transfer to the hotel for free time. In the evening, guests who wish can join the Batumi Night with dinner (50 USD) at a traditional restaurant with local music and performances. Afterwards we return to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Martvili Canyon Excursion
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish can join the optional extra Martvili Canyon and boat tour (105 USD).
At Martvili Canyon, turquoise water winds between steep cliffs and thick greenery. Wooden walkways lead past waterfalls and clear pools to viewpoints over the canyon, and a quiet boat ride takes us through its narrow gorge.
After the tour, free time and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
03Free Day in Batumi, Optional Adjara Mountain and Makhuntseti WaterfallOptional tour to Makhuntseti Falls and the Queen Tamar Bridge.

Adjara Mountain and Waterfalls
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish can join the optional extra tour to Adjara Mountain and Makhuntseti Waterfall (60 USD). We visit the waterfall and the historic Queen Tamar Bridge, and take time for the mountain scenery and photos before returning to Batumi.
After the tour, free time and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
04Optional Gonio Fortress and Return to IstanbulOptional visit to the ancient Roman fortress, then the return flight.
Gonio Castle and Flight Home
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish can join the optional extra tour to Gonio Fortress (45 USD), a well-preserved Roman fortress from the 1st century AD. Ringed by high stone walls and towers, the site holds centuries of history and archaeological finds, links to the legend of the Argonauts included. A walk through the grounds gives a sense of Georgia's past and the region's strategic place on the Black Sea coast.
At the time set by our guide we transfer to the airport. After check-in we board Turkish Airlines flight TK393, departing at 17.35 for Istanbul. We arrive at 18.45 local time, and our tour ends.
