Amsterdam Tour

We meet at the SunExpress Airlines counter in the international departures terminal at Ankara Esenboğa Airport 3 hours before the flight. After completing baggage, ticket and passport formalities, we depart for Amsterdam at 17.10 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 772. We arrive in Amsterdam at 19.15 local time. We transfer to our hotel in the vehicle waiting for us at the airport. We spend the night in Amsterdam or the surrounding area.

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our city tour. Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands, which borders Germany to the east and Belgium to the south. Our tour includes sights such as Dam Square, Central Station, the National Monument, the Royal Palace and the Flower Market. After the city tour, guests who wish can join the optional Fairy-Tale Villages and Waterways tour (Zaanse Schans & Marken & Volendam & Giethoorn Hobbit Village) at an extra cost. The tour costs 110 Euro. We begin our tour in the town of Zaanse Schans. This Dutch town is known for its historic windmills dating back to the 17th century that are still in operation, its wooden houses and its natural surroundings. These buildings give the town the appearance of an open-air museum. Stop number 2 on our tour is Marken. Once an island, Marken was later connected to the mainland by land reclamation. After exploring Marken, we head to Volendam. Known for its harbour, traditional Dutch houses and people wearing traditional clothing, Volendam offers the chance to taste seafood and cheeses and buy reasonably priced souvenirs. After our time in Volendam, we head to our final stop, Giethoorn Hobbit Village.

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Brugge & Gent tour at an extra cost. (140 Euro) The first stop is Brugge. Today one of Europe’s most visited cities, Brugge was placed under Unesco protection in 1991. The city is known for its medieval architecture, canals, narrow streets, bridges, historic buildings and squares. After visiting Brugge, we travel to Gent. With a history spanning 1400 years, Gent was founded at the meeting point of the Schelde and Lys rivers. One of the largest and wealthiest cities of the Middle Ages, Gent is known for its historic monuments from this period and its university. After the city tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight accommodation will be in Amsterdam or the surrounding area.

After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and set off for the McArthurGlen Outlet tour. We have free time at the outlet, which features dozens of luxury brands. We then head to Düsseldorf Airport. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, we depart for Ankara at 20.15 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 795. Our tour ends upon arrival at 02.00 local time.
