We've stayed at the Yorktowne twice in the last two months... it's now our favorite get-a-way spot — we've fallen in love with it! The hotel is the perfect size, not too big, nor too small. The rooms are very nice, but the common areas... like the bar, eating lounge, and rooftop bar and patio are extraordinary. We absolutely love the dining experience, everything we've ordered has been heavenly. Highly recommend!
Staff was exceptional, rooftop bar & view great however bartender could have used some help. Location great for walking to restaurants and Market. Bathroom wasn't clean, hair (uck) and gum on floor. Room temperature was not regulated, air conditioner ran with wild freezing te…

Staff was exceptional, rooftop bar & view great however bartender could have used some help. Location great for walking to restaurants and Market. Bathroom wasn't clean, hair (uck) and gum on floor. Room temperature was not regulated, air conditioner ran with wild freezing temperature swings. Did not receive $44 perk upgrade, staff didn't know what that was, and "King" bed was not a standard size.
Very pleasant staff willing to accommodate. Manager is excellent. However, no one to assist with my bags (mobility issues) No one to help with my car or luggage, car Parking not easily found (Im a stranger to York PA) room service was not functioning, either too cold or too hot in the room.
