Wynn's Hotel

Have just spent three days at Wynn's Hotel in Dublin. It was wonderful! Elegant old building, well maintained with good facilities. Superb breakfast, served by very attentive staff. In fact all the staff are excellent, helpful, efficient and friendly. Location is unbeatable. One negative is that our room was at the front of the hotel and there was considerable noise from the traffic .

I loved this hotel. Family owned, attentive service (especially from Roberta at the front desk), and a nice doorman who was always ready to help. The central location was great for exploring both sides of the river. The neighborhood has tons of food options, including a restaurant in the very same building and two more across the street. Price per night was reasonable for my budget. I initially stayed on the 5th floor in the older section in a large family room, and then later I moved to a smaller room in the remodeled section. The older section was quieter. The newer section had a window that looked out onto the street, but it was noisy because of the trams that go by every few minutes. I didn't mind at all, because I liked the street view, but light sleepers should request a room away from the street. I would absolutely stay here again next time I'm in Dublin.

​I went into Wynne’s Hotel for a carvery lunch on Sunday while waiting for my transport back to Belfast, and the service was outstanding. ​The bar team and floor staff were exceptional, but Hannah stood out in particular. Professional, informative, and deeply caring, she treated every customer with immense warmth. I was especially touched seeing her and her colleague go out of their way to support elderly guests, offering to carry heavy trays for anyone unsteady on their feet. Hannah is a fantastic ambassador for the hotel - give that woman a raise!
