Their staff at front desk are amazing and great hospitality, specially, Sevinch start following it up one day before, and guided so well, it was unbelievable. So good. She helped me and my family till the time we checked out, arranged tour guide, taxi, booked spa etc, all amazing people. Gentelman Mirshod was so helping at check in also, he facilitated all well. Sevinch, Mirshod and one more lady were great help thru out the stay. Thanks guys. Breakfast needs very much improvement

Overall, a great experience with some exceptional members of staff I would particularly like to recognise Sevinch, Dilshod, one of the pool assistants, and Khilola, who each contributed enormously to my overall experience. I arrived at Wyndham Bukhara quite early and without a prior reservation, so I was a walk-in guest. Sevinch checked me in and later checked me out. She was extremely helpful and arranged a room for me immediately, which was incredibly convenient after travelling. The room was nice and clean, and the hotel overall appeared very well maintained. I spent part of the day by the outdoor pool. The pool area was okay, but it would benefit from some upgrades, particularly more greenery to make it look and feel more inviting. One of the pool attendants provided excellent customer service (he will know who he is as he assisted me several times within a couple of hours). Unfortunately, I did not ask his name, and later he was no longer there. He spoke very good English, was attentive and he even helped me communicate my requests when the waiting staff struggled to understand me. He has exactly the communication skills and natural hospitality instinct you would expect from someone working at the front of house. The Greek salad had too many peppers and not enough tomatoes, and several menu items were unavailable. However, the cheesecake recommended by the pool attendant was delicious. The spa was a major highlight. I had a divine bamboo massage with Khilola, who combines proper strength and pressure with incredibly soft hands. I booked her again for the following morning, and although she was not originally scheduled to work, she came in especially for an 8 a.m. full-body massage. If you want a massage that is both powerful and relaxing, Khilola is the person to book. I would also particularly like to recognise DILSHOOD at reception. While travelling alone, my mobile data unexpectedly stopped working after I had been defrauded when purchasing a SIM card at Tashkent Airport. Dilshod was exactly the right person in the right place. He proactively contacted the network provider on my behalf, spent considerable time speaking with them, translated the information, established what had happened and helped restore my mobile service. He even completed the necessary top-up from his own phone and provided me with a contact number in case I required further assistance while travelling. His patience, initiative and genuine willingness to help went far beyond routine reception service and made an enormous difference in a stressful situation. Breakfast was served in a lovely room and offered a good selection. The hotel also has a gym. I did not manage to use it because this was a very short, one-day stay and I simply ran out of time. A small room-related detail was the absence of a vanity kit, which I would normally expect as standard in a hotel of this category. However, my main CONCERN was PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY / FILMING around the occupied pool. NO ONE ASKED FOR OUR CONSENT, and the camera appeared to be directed towards me, so I asked for my cabana to be turned away. I DO NOT CONSENT TO THE HOTEL USING ANY IMAGE OR VIDEO IN WHICH I APPEAR. Permission should always be requested. One area that needs improvement is English communication as some members of the waiting staff, and even some reception staff, had limited English, which was surprising for an international hotel and occasionally made it difficult to communicate requests. This was particularly noticeable when compared with the excellent English spoken by the pool attendant and the assistance provided by Dilshod or Sevinch. The lifts were rather hot, and the calling system did not make much sense. Instead of pressing one button and having the closest available lift arrive, each individual lift had to be called separately. This was unnecessarily awkward and could be improved. Despite these areas for improvement, I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and several members of staff provided outstanding, memorable service.

The rooms and facilities were nice, and the pool and gym were the best for our visit. The breakfast here was also great with many choices. There is room for improvement for the shower, as I couldn't find a way to shower without getting the bathroom floor wet. Also, the lifts kept looping the song "Yesterday Once More", which after a few days got the tune stuck on my mind even out of the lift (nice view from the lift made it more enjoyable though).
