My stay at the Wellington Hotel & Spa Madrid was exceptional from beginning to end. Everything was beautifully done, from the room and impeccable service to the wonderful location and extraordinary attention to detail. What made the hotel particularly special for me, however, was its sense of history. It is woven so naturally throughout the property, in the beautiful furniture, the art, the architecture, and the countless details that give the hotel a genuine sense of place and character. Nothing feels generic. I was constantly reminded that I was staying somewhere with a story. The staff were gracious, attentive, and welcoming throughout my stay, and every detail seemed considered without ever feeling overly formal. It is a rare hotel that manages to feel both elegant and genuinely comfortable. Madrid gave me many wonderful memories, and my stay at the Wellington was certainly among them. I would return without hesitation and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Location was perfect in a wonderful neighborhood and walkable to all key sites and nearby metro.

Had an amazing time at the Wellington staying a few days with my mother in the city. I loved the pool and terrace and their meeting rooms they offered to watch the World Cup. Great hotel. Only interesting observation is they service the room 2-3 times a day, so it’s sometimes was difficult to plan around remote work. But not a big deal. Already recommended this hotel to other friends while we visit family in Spain

Rooms
The 261 rooms have air conditioning, central heating and a private bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer and bathrobes. A safe, a minibar, a fridge and a mini fridge stand in each room, next to a telephone, a TV, a radio, internet access and WiFi, and slippers are laid out on arrival. Cots can be added for younger travellers, and both non-smoking and smoking rooms are bookable.
Food and drink
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the restaurant, the dining area and the breakfast room, while the cafe and the bar cover the hours in between. Drinks by the water come from the poolside bar.
