Hotel Los Condes

A lovely hotel tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Madrid's busy shopping, yet restaurants and tourist attractions is literally on the doorstep - can't fault it for location. Our standard room was a good size with two chairs and desk and the most comfortable bed. Good wardrobe space, a safe within, free of charge to use. Bar fridge with selection of drinks, payable on usage, good silent air con unit and shutters that keeps out the heat and light. Bathroom, again roomy with powerful shower. There's a guest area with seating and amenities like a photocopier. Breakfast/restaurant onsite. An adequate selection of continental breakfast with choices of hot and cold selection. Plenty of baked goods, juices, coffee and teas on offer. A lot of people commented that this hotel is 'dated' - true in the sense its not modernly decorated, but one can see the quality in its fittings and furnishings. Most importantly, it's extremely clean and the staff are most helpful, friendly and welcoming, in particular Gabriel. He helped us quickly with our check in, making sure we had all that we need - a special thanks to him!

Fantastic hotel. First of all, great location tucked down a quiet side street but so close to a bunch of great cafes and restaurants and also a big shopping street. So lots of things to do close by. It was also just a short walk from the main tourist attractions which was great. Room had everything you need and staff were lovely and helpful. Would recommend.

Right in the heart of the city just a few minutes walk from both bus and metro stations, making it convenient to travel to different parts of the city. Due to its closeness to the city center it’s not so quiet at night. The rooms were clean and comfortable for two people, the only thing left to be desired was the breakfast which was very basic and overpriced.
