The property is complete run down, nothing is working. Shower head is broken, heater is not working, light is not working. Plus everything is dirty. And the reception is horrible attitude. If you want to pay 160 euro for 6hs of sleep and get insulted. This is the place for you. The hotel is planning to close end of year and fire all the employees. So no customer service at all. Cleaning lady not trained, open the door without knocking in the morning. And your door can not be locked inside, feel very unsafe.
Perhaps 40 years ago this hotel could claim to be 4 star, but not anymore. Renovation is long overdue. The only thing the place has still going for it is the location on the beach front. We booked a superior room with terrace on the first floor. The room was spacious but minimal …

Perhaps 40 years ago this hotel could claim to be 4 star, but not anymore. Renovation is long overdue. The only thing the place has still going for it is the location on the beach front. We booked a superior room with terrace on the first floor. The room was spacious but minimal in comfort. The bathroom was outdated and did not give a clean feeling. The wooden door of the toilet was deformed and could not even close. The terrace was empty, no chairs, no table and the flooring with holes. Breakfast is ok, not special and service is minimal, probably trying to save cost with minimal personnel. But those who are there are very friendly. Overall significantly overpriced for it’s value.
Beautiful sea views and a fantastic location. The historic charm of Thermae Palace is impressive, but some areas could use renovation. Overall, a pleasant stay with unforgettable ocean scenery. A little too expensive for what you get. Bathroom was very old and could use renovation and the shower didn’t work properly.
