The Ritz-Carlton Fukuoka

Stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Fukuoka again and it was a really nice stay. When I got out of the taxi, they already said welcome back which was a nice touch. I’ve stayed before and I still like coming back here. Everything feels very consistent, service is solid and the whole stay feels smooth. I like the design and overall feel of the hotel too, the lobby and room are both very comfortable and well done. Dinner service was also good, especially they handled my husband’s allergy properly and were very attentive. Overall just a really comfortable stay. Would happily come back again.

Solid 4/5 Stay: Exceptional Space and Classic Service with a Few Luxury Gaps I recently stayed at this property, which feels incredibly fresh and modern at just three years old. The location is phenomenal—conveniently situated right between **Tenjin Station** and **Akasaka Station**. It places you steps away from an absolute paradise of shops and restaurants, making dining and shopping effortless. The room was a standout feature, offering significantly more space than what you typically find in Tokyo or standard Japanese hotel rooms. I especially loved the massive bathtub. There was nothing better than winding down at night, taking in the beautiful city lights right from the bath. The service here is excellent and carries a wonderful nostalgia, reminding me of Japan in the 90s. The staff are incredibly polite, warm, and consistently go out of their way to help and fulfill any requests. However, at this premium nightly rate, a couple of small details held it back from a perfect score: * **Breakfast:** The food quality was good, but the made-to-order selection was limited, and the portions were on the smaller side. Being restricted to only "one" egg dish feels a bit cheap for a Ritz-Carlton. While I personally don’t need more than two over-easy eggs, it's the principle of the restriction at this price point that leaves a poor impression. * **Housekeeping:** Although the room was spacious and immaculate overall, housekeeping forgot to refill a few basic bathroom amenities during my stay, which was a minor disappointment. Overall, it was a highly comfortable, great stay with top-tier hospitality. It is a solid 4/5, and I would definitely return.

Fukuoka, I just finished a mini road trip myself so did absolutely nothing here Rooms. 147 rooms plus 20 suites. I was in room 2121 with muted earthy hues, skyline views of Hakata Bay, a polished gem of a room. The bathroom looks like a latticed lantern at night and with the lights twinkling outside, ended the night soaking in the eco-lux Claybrook bathtub, the whole evening felt magical @ the hotel. Beautiful designs, calming hues. Eat, swim & spa Food & drinks. 5 dining and drinking offerings. Last time I tried Genjyu, this time I booked VIRIDIS, great food and heartwarming service, western restaurant but rooted in Kyushu produce, culinary pedigree with chef Kenji Yamanaka. They even alerted me to a great pink sunset that I was missing from the other side of the hotel Price $842 room only Rating. 5/5 except for a slow check-in during the 3 pm rush hour, everything else was impeccable
