The Art Hotel Vienna

We stayed at The Art Hotel in Vienna for three days and would like to share our experience so that future guests can decide for themselves whether this hotel suits their expectations. The hotel is located about a 40-minute walk from the city center, or around 20 minutes by bus, which stops relatively close to the hotel. For guests who use public transportation, this can be a convenient option. The rooms appear quite dated, and it feels as though the renovation and furniture have not been updated for many years. The furniture and interior show clear signs of age, the carpet looks worn, and there is a noticeable smell of old furniture in the room. The bathroom is also equipped with rather old plumbing fixtures. The towels in our room looked heavily used, and some had stains that seemed difficult to remove. In terms of bathroom amenities, only shower gel and liquid hand soap were provided. There was no shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, or slippers in the room. It is also worth noting that daily housekeeping is not done automatically. During our three-day stay, the room was not cleaned, the bed was not made, and the towels were not changed. If housekeeping is needed, it appears that guests need to request it at the reception. Overall, the hotel may be suitable for travelers looking for a more budget-friendly accommodation option and who do not expect modern renovations or a full hotel service.

For the price, the Art Hotel Vienna is an excellent accommodation option. The receptionist was friendly and professional, my room had a reliable and strong @ connection, everything was clean, and there was a fantastic balcony attached to the room. I couldn't hear any of the neighbors. It was Room 306 - a single occupancy room. It's a 15-minute walk to the metro station, and then a 10-minute ride to Karlsplatz. I recommend it.
