T House

This has been one of my most relaxing stays in Tagaytay. I’ve always dismissed the idea of staying at T House because for some reason, i thought the rates would be outrageous. I’m glad i gave it a chance though because at the rate we went for, it’s like getting a semi luxurious holiday that didn’t break the bank. I especially loved how the staff made extra efforts to make us feel welcomed and relaxed. At one point, the spa could only take me in for a one hour massage but they honored my request of having a 1.5 hour session even if that meant that the masseuse would be working overtime to accommodate me. Shoutout to Sir Vincent and Ms Janeth for making it happen. You definitely made a tired birthday girl get all the relaxation she needed that day. 😊 Another thing worth mentioning is the pool. It may not be as big as that of major hotels in the area and no, it may not have a view of Taal volcano but i loved how we were able to have the pool all to ourselves. Just one minor thing to complain about are the santol trees which stood right next to our room. I cant tell you how many times its fruits fell onto the roof and startled us with the sound it made. Parang may sumabog sa bubong which disrupted our relaxation several times, so i hope the management can do something about that. Still overall a great and relaxing experience though. We’re definitely going back. 😊

One of the most disappointing experiences I have had in a long time from the get go. We had some confusion on the booking date we made on agoda and apparently it was booked for the subsequent week than what we intended. Since there is no cancellation or refund we just did a walk in booking and paid it higher priced than agoda (agoda was 2160 the hotel asked us to pay 3600 as it was a walk in) and we obliged so as to not to spoil the day and weekend. The room had no fridge in the room, the water heater in the toilet was running in a way where we have to wait 5 mins for a 10 sec gush of hot water and back to cold water again. There was no breakfast included which meant we buy the breakfast at the hotel and we spent 350 for 4 PCs of tawilis and separately for the rice. The wifi was disaster, there was no wifi in the room and the so called NETFLIX was not even working. Stop robbing customers with shady practices where you publish online you have a million amenities only for us to pay a fortune for a poor service and lies. If you want to be scammed too, then definitely visit this place. Not to mention the old lady at the reception who told us to just sit and wait for our refund from agoda and then come back when we have the refund and rebook, assuming that we couldn't afford their tariffs. Such rudeness.

Go-to hotel at Tagaytay for the relaxing atmosphere and great service. Price is really good to for what you get. Spa service is also 👌 and not overpriced compared to other spa services in other hotels in the area. Some cons - some portions of the property is starting to show its age, but nothing deal-breaking. Food quality is okay to pretty good, but nothing spectacular. Overall still a good place to stay!
