Before i booked this hotel i read reviews and knew it's an old tiring hotel. Luckily i got the "New" floor's new room. It's tear and wear in the hotel room, it's not 5 or 4 star hotel facility. But beding quality, towel quality are still there. And it's very clean in every corner. I paid 180euros per night, stayed for two nights. Travelled from Paris, the room is spacious(compare to Paris)when i walked in. We got a corner room with simple decorated bed, a cute chocolate and a welcome note. I would say it's totally worth the money. We didn't go for breakfast in the hotel, had very pleasant breakfast in our room's table with near by boulougary food, plus coffee, tea and juice from hotel room. Just lovely. We had a nice stay here and it's easy to go everywhere in Lyon, very good location. I think it's a good option if it's under 200euros per night, more than that, choose other hotels in Lyon.

I would also like to acknowledge 2 wonderful staff that went out of there way to help an English speaking person in France. Remy in the bar was a delight so friendly and inquisitive we loved talking with him. I would also like to say that Lou my waitress at dinner was a very professional and friendly person who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Both of your staff members elevated the wonderful experience we had in this hotel.
