What guests say.
The hotel was booked for me, for business. The staff was nice and friendly. But - the bed was too soft (for me) it was not clean, black mould in the bathroom and at the window-frames and a dirty, stained carpet and dirty water boiler. The shower didn't had enough pressure. The breakfast was o.k., but there were no lactose-free or gluten-free alternatives, but the baguette was very tasty. The music in the breakfast room was extremely loud, and rock-music in the early morning is not everybody's taste. And - this hotel has absolutely no atmosphere.... The location was good to reach my business-meeting-point, but this was the only plus. Next time, I will accept travelling longer with the metro and rather stay in nicer hotel in the city center.
DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience this time. The staff at this hotel were exceptionally rude and appeared completely disinterested in their work. At the restaurant, a lady responded to my polite request for a fork with unnecessary hostility, even shouting at me and claiming I hadn’t said "good morning", which I had, in a very respectful manner. Meanwhile, the man at the reception desk seemed completely disengaged, lying across the counter and staring at guests in a way that felt judgmental and unwelcoming. This is, without a doubt, the rudest hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. I will not be returning and will be recommending that my company remove this hotel from our list of options in Lyon. There are far better places to stay in the city.
Stayed for 4nights. Shower was good but toilet kept filling up until it was flushed again. No fridge or drawers. TV had only French channels, that was a shame for English speakers. Pillows were not comfortable the duvet was a bit too heavy. For the rest it was sufficient.
