Shebara Resort

Shebara sits on its own island in the Red Sea: Sheybarah Island, between AlWajh and Umluj, around 500 kilometres north of Jeddah. Part of the accommodation is built directly over the water, so you step off your own deck straight into the sea.

The island is reached through Red Sea International Airport. Boardwalks link the villas to one another, and the architecture is set among the surrounding reefs rather than against them; the word the resort itself leans on is restraint, not display.

There are restaurants on site, along with a spa and wellness area. On the water, the resort names instructed catamaran sailing and time spent on the coral reefs.
