Scandic Aalborg Øst

A great hotel that I can definitely recommend. The location is very good, while at the same time the place is quiet and peaceful, which makes it perfect for relaxing. A big plus is the spacious parking area, as well as the very friendly, smiling and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and the food is very good. My only minor comment would be about the steak — I asked for medium rare, but it was served more like medium, leaning towards well done. However, the taste was still very good, so it did not significantly affect the overall. A very good experience and a place I would gladly return to.

An average Scandic hotel, conveniently located right next to the E45 highway to Hirtshals and Frederikshavn. The rooms are nice and clean, the bathrooms in the Standard rooms are a bit small though. The hotel has a nice restaurant for breakfast and dinner, with both having quite a few dining options. Since the hotel is located by the highway, there’s also a large parking lot with charging stations.

I stayed at this hotel for three days on a business trip. The room was a good size, very clean and had great amenities like an iron, hairdryer, electric kettle and plenty of space to hang clothes. Excellent breakfast that catered to all tastes. The only downside to the hotel is that it is far from the city center and there are no restaurants around the hotel, but the hotel restaurant has a decent menu for Sam at reasonable prices. Overall, it was a good stay, the only downside is the distance from the city center.
