Radisson Blu Limfjord Aalborg

Nice hotel located beside the water. Great service ahead of the stay, as I called to ask for early check in. Parking in the basement with reasonable price. We were upgraded to a room with view of the water. So nice. The room is spacy with nice furniture. The bathroom is a bit small compared to other Radisson hotels, but the amenities are so nice. Free coffee and the in the room. If you are member of the Radisson Reward programme, there is free water in the minibar. Breakfast buffet is good and with a wide selection. Fruits, eeg and bacon, bread, pastry, cheese, juice and many other delicious choices. All in all a very nice hotel with great and so friendly staff. We would definitely come back.

This was a bit less impressive compared to the one in Aarhus. The room was clean and comfortable. Reception service was ok. We had breakfast in our reservation, but not in their records. There must have been a mistake on their side as the only booking option for us was with breakfast. They did not clarify on check in, which was weird, but all good in the morning! A bit worn out .

My room was so cold. And no way to adjust temperature. Breakfast was 235DKK which in my opinion is too expensive for pr person. Location is great, but very bad service. By my experience. I forgot an item in my room, and called reception 1.5 hours after check out. Told them where my item was located. When I came back to hotel to retrieve the item, they said no item was found. And cleaning was gone home for the day. And no item was found in my room. I then showed the item was still in the hotel, as there was a tracker on it. 😄 So next day they called me, and said they suddenly found the item and could send via mail for 300DKK 😆 (they should have offered to pay the postage) They could have put more effort in finding the item the same day. Instead i felt like cleaning did not report it, and maybe wanted to keep the item. But the next day they had to give it, as i had proof it was still in the hotel.
