Wachout !!! Got a two tickets in the parking garage from the hotel(!) ... For a stay from 10pm to 8am.... 120€ ... No information when entering the garage or so on ... Just a little sign hidden behind the cashier machine. Which it's self doesn't state anything about an upfront payment ... And the lady at the reception just blames us is unfriendly and not even any sign of understanding or even a sorry. I would never book a night here again just because of the attitude om the reception ... Aaaand the ticket :) For all my German and traveling friends just stopping in Malmö for transit... Please learn from our mistake and pay the garage upfront :) it's different than what we are used to :) Edit: there was a very friendly guy in the garage from the hotel that at least explained us the situation and showed empathy. Thanks to you :)

The location is nice, we got to most places we wanted to with ease. However, the customer service was quite possibly some of the worst we've experienced. If you have a problem that they are unable to identify, they then treat you as someone both entitled and delusional. We had the issue of gnarly tasting drinking water (think taking a swig of your public swimming pool), and after a few days with no resolution we were then treated as if the issue was all in our heads and spoken to extremely condescendingly. The room was alright, but it is not difficult finding something which is both nicer and has better amenities. If you have an injury which renders the stairs harder or impossible for you, be prepared to wait over 10 minutes for an elevator at times.

We stayed at Quality Hotel Malmö for one night, and unfortunately the experience was much more frustrating than expected. The biggest issue was the hotel's designated parking. The hotel advertises parking with direct access to the hotel, but there are few spaces. We paid 285 SEK for 24-hour parking using the hotel parking code via EasyPark. After leaving for less than two hours to visit family, we returned to find the hotel's parking area completely full. There was no information on the hotel's website or in the parking garage explaining that these spaces are limited, operate on a first-come, first-served basis, or that paying for 24-hour parking does not mean you can expect to find a space if you leave and return. Reception told us we could park on another level of the garage as long as the space was not marked "Reserved," and that it did not matter that the parking code for that area was different. Because I was not convinced this was correct, I asked the receptionist to confirm it in writing. He then admitted that he was not familiar with the parking garage, had never been inside it, and could not confirm his own advice in writing. We went back down to check again and met a parking warden while retrieving our car. She informed us that the receptionist's guidance was incorrect and that we would receive a parking fine if we remained parked there. We were also locked out of that parking level and needed her assistance via the elevator to regain access to our vehicle so we could move it. We then had to pay another 275 SEK using a different parking code for another area of the same parking garage. The entire situation took around an hour late in the evening when all we wanted was to get our daughter to bed. The room itself also had issues. We booked for 2 adults and 1 child, but the room was only prepared with two single beds and no extra bed for our daughter. We had to contact reception before we could settle in. The room was also warmer than we preferred throughout the night, and the temperature controls appeared to have no effect. We were also disappointed with the view, as the room faced directly toward a nearby office building rather than an open view. After our stay, I contacted the hotel. They apologized for the missing bed, but regarding the parking they refused any reimbursement. They stated that parking is the driver's responsibility and referred us to the parking operator/owner. If you stay here, be aware that the hotel's designated parking appears to be suitable only if you do not plan to leave and return during your stay. Otherwise, consider using another parking area in the same garage with the correct parking code, where there are more spaces available, or another nearby large parking facility with lower prices. Overall, the combination of room issues, unclear parking arrangements, incorrect guidance from reception, and the lack of willingness to resolve the situation made this a very disappointing stay.
