Pullman Vung Tau

Before making my reservation, I carefully reviewed the hotel’s facilities and guest feedback. While most reviews were positive about the property, there were some concerns regarding service quality. I assumed these were isolated cases and decided to book a room. However, my experience did not meet expectations. Aside from the Lounge staff, who were friendly, the Front Office team provided unsatisfactory service. I booked a Suite and they are including a bathtub and sea view. Upon check-in at around 4:00 PM, the assigned room did not meet these criteria. Although I was initially informed that a suitable room would be ready within 30 minutes, I was subsequently asked to wait longer, shown an unprepared alternative room, and received no proper follow-up. After multiple delays and having to proactively contact the front desk several times, the correct room was only arranged after I expressed strong dissatisfaction. I eventually received the room at around 6:30 PM. This experience suggests that the issue was not room availability, but rather the handling and service attitude. I had to wait several hours and escalate the situation just to receive the service I had paid for. In addition, the breakfast was only average compared to five-star standards and did not meet my expectations. While other aspects of the hotel may be acceptable, the lack of responsiveness and attentiveness significantly impacted my overall experience and does not encourage a return visit.

The Pullman Vung Tau is a modern, well-designed hotel with high ceilings and a spacious feel. The overall look is stylish and impressive. The location is also convenient — there’s a Lotte right across the street, and it’s only about a 5-minute walk to the beach (not beachfront, but still very close). A special shoutout to the security team and the doormen, who were proactive and genuinely helpful when assisting guests in and out of cars — a great first impression. However, the experience is quite inconsistent. The front desk and service staff could really benefit from better training in attitude and professionalism. There was a noticeable lack of friendliness — rarely any smiles — and the service did not feel up to 5-star standards. This was especially evident during the breakfast buffet, where staff seemed disengaged and unmotivated. As for the breakfast, it was disappointing. The food lacked flavor, the presentation was quite basic, and there was little sense of care or attention to detail from the kitchen. After staying 4 nights, it became increasingly difficult to find something enjoyable to eat — definitely below expectations. On a positive note, the rooms are quite nice — clean, comfortable, and well-designed. 👉 Overall: great hardware, but service and F&B need significant improvement to truly match a 5-star experience.

Her dedication to delivering excellent service truly enhanced my overall experience. Without a doubt, this was a five-star stay, and I look forward to returning again soon.
