Premier Inn Ashford Eureka Leisure Park

Stayed here as a stopover before an early Eurotunnel crossing, and the location was ideal for that purpose. The staff were all lovely, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, but it felt quite dated and had a damp smell. Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't working, which made the room uncomfortable. The shower was also extremely hot, even when set to the coldest temperature. Overall, the hotel's biggest strengths are its convenient location for travellers heading to the Eurotunnel and its excellent staff, but the rooms could benefit from some updating and maintenance.

The hotel was ok and in a great location, only about 15 minutes from LeShuttle. The 3-star rating is mainly due to the breakfast, which was pretty shocking. It isn’t a buffet — it’s table service — and it was incredibly slow. We were at the door when they opened at 6:30am and were the first to place our order, but still had to wait about 25 minutes for the hot food. When it finally arrived, the portion size was very disappointing. Honestly, you’d be better off going to the McDonald’s next door for breakfast.
