Very disappointing experience – definitely not 4-star service. Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, particularly because of the attitude and customer service from one of the reception staff members. We politely asked if we could have a glass of wine from the hotel bar, and the gentleman at reception responded with an incredibly unfriendly and unwelcoming attitude. He looked visibly annoyed that we had even asked and made us feel like we were causing him an inconvenience. The way we were treated was completely unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. Guests should feel welcomed, respected and appreciated—not as though they are a problem for asking for a simple service that the hotel offers. Unfortunately, the member of staff showed very poor customer service, no warmth and absolutely no hospitality. A smile and a polite attitude would have made a huge difference, but instead the interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. For a hotel claiming to be 4-star, I expected a much higher standard of service. The facilities might be 4-star, but the customer service certainly was not. Management should seriously consider addressing the attitude and training of reception staff, because experiences like this can completely ruin a guest’s stay and leave a very negative impression of the entire hotel. Very poor customer service and a very disappointing experience.

For solo female travelers, the hotel is technically walkable from nearby transport, but it’s quite difficult if you’re dragging a 25 kg suitcase because the road is rough and uneven. If you’re traveling with friends, it’s more manageable. Taxi fare was around 500 THB. The hotel itself feels old and unfortunately not very clean. The room had visible dust, and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The pillows and mattress were very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. I guess it’s acceptable for the price range, though. The staff were lovely and very helpful, which was probably the best part of the stay. Breakfast quality was below average — very basic, mostly just bread and simple items. Overall, the experience was just okay. If you have other options, I’d probably recommend staying somewhere else.

We were worried after seeing the reviews. My wife and I walked from the airport at 12am, which had footpaths and streetlit the whole way (10 minute walk). The reception was 24hours so wewere immediately seems too by a very helpful receptionist. The rooms were clean and recently modernized, and the noise levels were more than acceptable. Had a nice night before picking the car up for a 5 hour drive the next day.
