Mara Leisure Camp

This camp is just outside the park, the stay was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. We stayed in a tent and it was better than expected. I rated the room 4/5 everything was fine but nothing blew my mind to give it a 5. Your there for Safari not the room. It had everything you need to be comfortable. The service was great. 4/5 stars only because housekeeping did not provide clean towels one day and there was no explanation why. They did the bedding, gave fresh water but did not change the towels, also security walked between the tents, which is good we want to feel safe but sometimes they would be talking on the phone which diatribes sleep. Really a minor things but is the difference between 4 and 5 stars. Location for outside the park, no complaints, beautiful place, beautiful atmosphere, nice decorations.

We stayed at Mara Leisure Camp in the King Room for 3 nights couple of months back and had an amazing experience. The rooms were big and spotless clean. The staff was highly courteous, cooperative, helped us with all ours needs and took good care of us throughout our stay with a big smile on their faces. We had running hot water in the bathroom which felt like luxury in a property right inside the park. The food was outstanding - the chefs and the staff always made sure to go an extra mile to prepare some Indian dishes for us apart from the buffet and made sure that we had great meals every single day as per our preferences. We felt right at home and were looked after throughout our stay. The lunch/breakfast boxes were generously packed and we enjoyed all our meals in the wild. Thank you for the amazing hospitality and would love to return in future to have this outstanding experience when I’m back in Mara❤️
