M Social Hotel Phuket

My family and I arrived at the hotel today with a confirmed reservation for two rooms: one room with a double bed and another with two separate beds. At check-in, I was surprised to be told that there were no rooms available with twin beds, even though that was the room type I had reserved. I have an older son and daughter, and according to our culture and family values, it is not acceptable for them to share a bed. I explained this politely, but unfortunately, the supervisor, Pat, was very rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. The only solution she offered was to bring a pillow and blanket so my son could sleep on the sofa, which is simply not an acceptable solution for a reservation that was confirmed and fully paid for. What disappointed me the most was that no effort was made to find a proper solution. There were several options the hotel could have considered, such as upgrading us to a family suite, moving us to another suitable room when available, providing two connecting rooms with the correct bedding, or offering another reasonable alternative. Instead, we were left feeling that our concerns were not taken seriously. Fortunately, I then spoke with another receptionist, Kate, whose attitude was completely different. She was welcoming, respectful, and genuinely cared about helping us. She quickly arranged an extra bed for my son and resolved the issue professionally. This clearly showed that the situation could have been handled much better from the beginning. I sincerely thank Kate for her outstanding customer service. Unfortunately, my experience with Pat left a very poor first impression of the hotel. I hope the management reviews this incident, provides additional customer service training, and ensures that confirmed reservations are honored. When unexpected issues arise, guests should be offered appropriate alternatives rather than being asked to accept an inadequate solution.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and located in a great area. However, what truly made my experience exceptional was Ms. Wii. She was incredibly helpful, professional, kind, and always greeted guests with a genuine and warm smile. I would also like to express my special thanks to her for the thoughtful gift she kindly presented to me. It was a wonderful gesture that made me feel truly welcomed and appreciated. Her outstanding hospitality, attention to detail, and positive attitude reflect the highest standards of customer service. Because of the excellent treatment and care I received from Ms. Wii, I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again in the future. Thank you, Ms. Wii, for making my stay so memorable and enjoyable.
