Le Clervaux Boutique Hotel

Stayed at Hotel Clervaux Boutique & Spa for a one-night girls’ spa getaway, which also included a birthday celebration. Overall, the hotel has a lot of charm, and the room was a real highlight; beautiful duplex style with exposed wooden beams, a cosy atmosphere, and a lovely view. The bathroom facilities were also very high quality, and everything was clean and well maintained. A small note is that in-room amenities (coffee, tea, and glassware) seemed prepared for two guests rather than three, which felt slightly inconsistent with our booking. The spa area is compact but pleasant, offering a sauna, hammam, salt room, relaxation space, and pool. It’s a nice boutique-style setup, though limited in size, and at times it felt a bit busy for the space available. The jacuzzi area was cooler than expected, which made it less relaxing than anticipated. Dinner was a mixed experience. Some dishes were quite mild in flavour and could have been more refined in execution. Small details such as appropriate cutlery for the main course and consistency with dietary requests could be improved. The desserts were excellent and clearly the standout of the meal. Breakfast was adequate and simple, though coffee quality could be improved. In summary, the stay had many pleasant aspects, particularly the room and overall atmosphere. However, some details in dining, and service consistency could be refined to better match the boutique spa positioning. It was a nice stay overall, but I would probably explore other options for a future special occasion.

Hotel located in a cosy little village. Very nice located. Rooms at the La Clerveaux were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered everything you need but the breakfast room has the charm of a cantina (very tight, noisy), Parking garage available +19€ per night. Spa especially the pool it clean but very outdated. Rest of the spa was nice. In total a good hotel but for the things offered a bit too expensive.

Upon arrival at the reception, I was asked to wait for almost an hour, even though my confirmation email stated that I would be able to access my room from 3:00 p.m. I had booked half board, which was taken into account afterward. It also seemed that a parking space had been reserved for me, but I was never offered one. The suite was beautiful, and the dinner at the Chloé Restaurant was outstanding. The staff there were also very friendly and attentive.
